Biohazard vocalist/guitarist Billy Graziadei suffered a gnarly cut to his head during the band’s show at Théâtre Beanfield, Montreal, QC last night, October 25th. The Brooklyn, NY-based hardcore/rap metal outfit have been out on the road this month, celebrating the October 11th release of their comeback album, the now not at all ironically titled “Divided We Fall“.
Graziadei‘s onstage tumble took place two songs into the band’s set during a performance of their 1990 track “Wrong Side Of The Tracks“. Despite some rather profuse bleeding, Graziadei and the band went on to finish out the fourteen-song setlist as planned.
As seen in the below fan-filmed footage, Graziadei lost his balance walking backwards, apparently tripping on some cabling attached to the stage monitors which were dislodged by his feet upon first stumbling. Graziadei then went careening backwards, falling headfirst into the corner of the drum riser.
Stage crew rushed to his aid, helping him back to his feet, while also cleaning up what appears to be some beverages that were on the riser that got spilled during the fall. Thankfully, Billy appears to have weathered the accident without serious injury, taking to his social media afterward to state, “Thank you Montreal! I bled for you and left it all on stage!”
Biohazard‘s abbreviated fall with Onyx, Bayway and Swollen Teeth will continue as follows:
