The new WTA Tour rankings have been updated after Elena Rybakina qualified for the WTA Finals in Riyadh to complete the field.
Rybakina has been praised by Martina Navratilova after her two wins over Leylah Fernandez and Victoria Mboko secured her place in Saudi Arabia.
Rybakina made a bit of history against Mboko, and the hard-hitting player could be capable of causing quite a stir when the finals get underway.
The stage is now set for Riyadh, with Coco Gauff looking to defend her title and Mirra Andreeva the unfortunate party to miss out on the end-of-year tournament.

For Rybakina, she has moved ahead of Jasmine Paolini in the world rankings and is now going into the WTA Finals as one of the form players.
The Kazakhstani player is up to sixth in the world rankings and has risen through the ranks as the year has progressed to earn a place in the WTA Finals.
Rybakina has come good at the perfect time this season and has a track record of beating all the top players, which means she won’t be fazed at the finals.
The WTA is in great shape at the moment, with competition fierce and all of the top eight players in the world capable of beating each other on any given day.
Rybakina will want to improve at WTA Finals
Although she will be happy to qualify, the player will now be hoping to perform better at the event, having never made it out of the round robin stage previously.

Rybakina will be well-equipped at the event and will arrive in Riyadh in great shape after a pretty stunning second half of the campaign.
The 26-year-old now has a chance to finish the year with a flourish and none of the players will want to find themselves facing Rybakina in the group stages.
Having won a Grand Slam and previously been number three in the world, Rybakina now has a chance to really kick on and start winning big titles once again.
