York Regional Police Duty Inspector Cheung speaks with Courtney Heels about the investigation after several shots were fired in Vaughan.
Police in York Region are investigating after they say a Vaughan home was the target of gunfire for the third time in the past two months.
It happened at a home on Allison Ann Way, near Queen Filomena Avenue and Via Romano Boulevard, at around 5 a.m.
In a news release, police said the driver of a dark-coloured SUV was seen firing “numerous shots” at the home and at an unoccupied vehicle in the driveway.
The home was occupied at the time of the shooting but no injuries were reported.
The suspect vehicle fled southbound on Allison Ann Way, police said.
According to police, the shooting is being investigated as a targeted incident and officers confirmed that this is not the first time the home has been hit by gunfire. Police told CP24 that there were two other shootings at the home in September.
The residence is also believed to be linked to past shootings at two other homes in Vaughan on Pottery Place and Lady Angela Way, police confirmed.
Officers were at the scene Monday canvassing for witnesses and video surveillance footage.
