A TNA champion’s contract is set to expire toward the end of the year, according to a new report.

According to a new report from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, TNA International Champion Steve Maclin will have his contract expire at the end of 2025. The report mentions that Maclin re-signed with TNA last year on a one-year deal. However, it’s unclear what his status will be going forward.

Maclin just recently re-won his title at TNA Bound For Glory, where he defeated Frankie Kazarian. He’s been with the company for over four years now, and was with WWE for seven years prior to that. Fightful notes that Maclin is considered a “positive backstage presence,” but no confirmation on his future is known as of now.

Maclin has recently appeared on WWE NXT programming due to the TNA partnership. His wife, Deonna Purrazzo, is currently contracted to All Elite Wrestling.

Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information as it becomes available.
