Two people were taken to hospital following a carjacking and shooting at a gas station in north Etobicoke early Tuesday morning.
According to police, the incident occurred at around 2:26 a.m. at a gas station on Rexdale Boulevard, near Highway 27.
Paramedics said they were called to the area for an assault and possible shooting and found two victims at the scene.
One victim suffered minor injuries, while the second sustained serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries, according to first responders.
The victims, police said, are a male in his 40s and a woman in her 30s.
The suspects fled in an unknown direction, investigators said, and suspect descriptions have not been released.
