In tonight’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, emotions run high as the festive spirit of Bhai Dooj brings both joy and tension among the characters.
Abhira Confronts Abhir for Missing Bhai Dooj
The episode begins with Abhira expressing her disappointment to Abhir for leaving home without celebrating Bhai Dooj with her. Abhir tries to justify his absence, explaining that he had received an urgent call. However, when Abhira brings up Kiara’s name, Abhir hesitates, unsure how to tell her that Kiara has been keeping her distance from him. To avoid the topic, he quickly distracts Abhira by asking her what gift she wants for Bhai Dooj.
Abhira, along with Maira, surprises him with a list of demands. She sweetly asks Abhir to promise that he will spend time with her once a week. She proposes that during those moments, he will share stories about Abhinav, while she will tell him about Akshara. Their conversation lightens the mood as Maira and Abhira insist that Abhir take them out for a gol gappa outing soon.
Tanya’s Emotional Breakdown
Elsewhere, Tanya is seen missing Anshuman deeply. Seeing her sad, Armaan approaches and gently suggests that she can consider him as her brother. But Tanya, still hurt, reacts harshly and tells him that no one can ever take Anshuman’s place in her life. Abhira overhears this heated exchange and is stunned by Tanya’s reaction. The Poddars Celebrate Bhai Dooj
Meanwhile, the Poddar family comes together to celebrate Bhai Dooj with much enthusiasm. Krish and Kiara plan a fun-filled karaoke session for everyone. Maira opens the celebration by singing the first song, and soon, Armaan invites Kiara and Krish to join him in performing together. Even Kaveri surprises everyone by singing, bringing a wave of happiness across the room. However, Tanya struggles to stay cheerful as she is still weighed down by her emotions.

Later, Armaan takes Kiara, Krish, Abhira, and Maira away from the gathering, saying he wants to show them something special. Krish, curious, asks why they had to leave the karaoke midway. Armaan then reveals a bench to them. Maira wonders why Armaan and Abhira seem emotional over such a simple thing. Abhira explains that the bench holds sentimental value for Armaan. Smiling nostalgically, Armaan says he plans to carve Rohit and Charu’s names on it first, otherwise, they would have jokingly fought over it. This gesture brings tears to Kiara and Krish’s eyes as they recall Rohit and Charu’s memories.
