He has been scratched the past five games with his best performance of the season being in a 8-4 win over the Buffalo Sabres on Oct. 15, where he notched three assists.

Washington Capitals

Forward Dylan Strome and defenceman Rasmus Sandin are both on the ice for practice in no-contact jerseys.

Strome, who is dealing with a lower-body injury, missed Tuesday’s 1-0 loss to the Dallas Stars after getting injured against the Senators on Oct. 25 that caused him to leave the game.

The 28-year-old has two goals and eight assists this season.

Dylan Strome and Rasmus Sandin both sticking around for practice. Great, great sign for the Caps.

Rookie goaltender Brandon Bussi was the first of the three Hurricanes goalies off the ice at morning skate after occupying the starter’s net and is in line to start against the New York Islanders tonight, per Newsday’s Andrew Gross.

An undrafted free agent after three years at Western Michigan in the NCAA, Bussi spent four years in the Boston Bruins organization, primarily playing with the AHL’s Providence Bruins.
