Dayton, OH – The La Salle women’s soccer team will face off against top-seeded Dayton in the Atlantic 10 tournament quarterfinals on Friday night, with kickoff set for 7:00 pm.
Last Time Out
Last Sunday, the Explorers fell on the road to Duquesne by a score of 4-2. Freshman forward Kayden WIlliams and senior forward Justyce Hollenbach netted the tallies for the Explorers.
La Salle In The Atlantic 10 Tournament
The Explorers have made the A-10 tournament 13 times, winning the tournament five times (2011-14, 2017). Their last appearance was in 2023, when the squad advanced to the final match against top-seeded Saint Louis.
La Salle last played the Flyers in the Atlantic 10 tournament in the 2023 semifinals, defeating them in overtime by a score of 1-0.

This will mark the fifth time the Explorers and the Flyers will play each other in the A-10 tournament. La Salle has won all four previous matchups.

The winner of Friday’s game will take on the winner of the #4 Rhode Island/#5 VCU game in the Atlantic 10 semifinals. That game will be played on Wednesday night, with the time TBD.
