The Los Angeles Dodgers need to win Game 6 against the Toronto Blue Jays to keep their hopes alive of a second consecutive World Series title.
Two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani has had two quiet games for the Dodgers following his historic Game 4, where he reached base nine times, including two home runs.
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts expressed confidence in his star player on Thursday, saying the three-time MVP is open to taking on multiple roles for the team, including playing in the outfield.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts says everything is on the table for Shohei Ohtani in a potential Game 7 including being a closer, an opener, playing the OF, everything
Fans reacted to Roberts’ comment, reminding the Dodgers skipper that the team needs to win Game 6 with Yoshinobu Yamamoto on the mound before thinking about Game 7.
“Feel like almost everyone is expecting Game #7. It’s a little disrespectful for Toronto and their ability to adjust to pitchers. I don’t think it’s automatic at all.”

Shohei Ohtani made his first World Series start, taking the mound against the Blue Jays in Game 4. However, the Japanese two-way star, who shut down the Milwaukee Brewers in NLCS Game 4, conceded four earned runs on six hits with six strikeouts.
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts shares blunt message for a struggling Mookie Betts
Although Shohei Ohtani has been quiet in his last two games, he hasn’t received much support from the Dodgers’ star-studded lineup. One of the biggest issues has been former MVP Mookie Betts’ slump this postseason. The All-Star slugger is batting .164 in his last 13 games in October.
Dodgers skipper Dave Roberts had blunt advice for the 33-year-old Betts ahead of Game 6.
“Focus on one game, and be good for one game,” Roberts said. “Go out there and compete.”
Betts is 2-for-16 in the last three World Series games and will need to step up his performance with the Dodgers offense struggling against Toronto’s rotation.
