Opportunities to lock in playing opportunities for the 2026 PGA Tour season are wearing thin with just two weeks left to move up or down the FedEx Cup standings before the playoffs begin. Enter Moving Day at the 2025 3M Open, which features 76 golfers not only vying for the first-place prize and a PGA Tour win but opportunities to compete in the playoffs and play in signature events next season.Â
Thorbjørn Olesen enters with the 36-hole lead, but his advantage is just one shot over Jake Knapp in the final pairing of the day. Wyndham Clark, Akshay Bhatia and Joel Dahmen lead a group of contenders within four shots of Olesen to open the third round, and all are capable of making significant runs to either close or tighten that gap before action concludes Saturday at TPC Twin Cities in Minnesota. Whether any will be able to make such a charge remains to be seen, but given all that’s on the line this weekend, there’s no shortage of motivation.
