Formula 1 star Charles Leclerc is gearing up for this weekend’s Brazilian Grand Prix in Sao Paulo, but he already scored a win away from the racetrack.
Leclerc and his partner, Alexandra Saint Mleux, announced in a joint Instagram post on Sunday that they’re engaged. The happy couple shared a series of photos celbrating the moment, with the simple caption, “Mr. and Mrs Leclerc.”
Per TMZ, a jewelry specialist at Lorel Diamonds told The Daily Mail that Saint Mleux’s engagement ring is estimated to be worth at least $525,000.
Saint Mleux is described as “a well-known French-Mexican-Italian art and fashion influencer.” She and Leclerc were rumored to be dating in 2023 before confirming their relationship later that year.
Leclerc, who represents Ferrari, is an eight-time Grand Prix winner, and his 27 pole position wins are the most in F1 history without a World Drivers’ Championship. He will try to add to his mantle when the Brazilian Grand Prix commences on Friday, but his week is already off to a spectacular start following his engagement to Saint Mleux.
