The Jake Paul vs. Gervonta Davis spectacle won’t be hitting Netflix screens after all.
Paul and “Tank” Davis were expected to clash in an exhibition boxing match on Nov. 14 at the Kaseya Center in Miami, however the event has been canceled, Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) confirmed Monday.

MVP is now expected to stage a different Paul-headlined event on Netflix to close out 2025.
The announcement follows widespread speculation and criticism of Davis’ placement on the show after new domestic violence allegations were filed against Davis this past week.
MVP co-founder Nakisa Bidarian issued the following statement Monday:
“Our team has worked closely with all parties to navigate this situation responsibly. While we will not be moving forward with this event, our plan still remains for Jake Paul to headline an event on Netflix in 2025. Details regarding a new date, location, Jake’s opponent, and additional bouts will be shared as soon as they are finalized. We thank Netflix, the Kaseya Center, and the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino for their partnership.”
Davis is being accused by ex-girlfriend Courtney Rossel of battery, aggravated battery, false imprisonment, kidnapping and intentional infliction of emotional distress during an incident that allegedly occurred on Oct. 27 at Tootsies, a strip club.
Rossel claims that Davis attacked her in the back room of the club before dragging her through the back exit and assaulting her in the parking garage. Rossel said she was a victim of domestic violence on multiple occasions during her five-month relationship with Davis prior to the incident.

It is not the first time Davis has been accused of domestic violence. Most recently, the controversial boxer was charged with striking his ex-girlfriend on the back of the head and then slapping her during an alleged dispute on Father’s Day. The case was ultimately dropped after the woman declined to prosecute.
