A rack that’s affordable and stylish is the unicorn of the hi-fi furniture world — and I think I’ve found one. Meet the Eiffel AS07 from FitUEyes, whose 15.5kg and 78cm-tall structure tapers backwards to put four wood-laminate shelves in a metal trapezoidal frame. Think: industrial office meets Mid-Century Modern.
The top and bottom shelves each support 50kg, and the middle two – whose positions are adjustable – 20kg each. There’s enough space for a turntable on top, a large amplifier on the bottom and a streaming DAC and phono stage in between. Shelf depth and width vary slightly, but each one is large enough for a standard-width (43cm) hi-fi component. There’s even a slot at the bottom rear for a power adapter and – crucially for this audiophile – the two rear supports are wide enough to hide cables with or without cable ties.
Price? A very reasonable €129 or US$129. The €179/US$179 ‘update’ version narrows the rear supports to accommodate rear-firing LED striplights and a power board. Your choice of Walnut, Black, Natural, Grey and Camel finishes.
FitUEyes makes no claims that its Eiffel rack will elevate the sound of your hi-fi components and they will be showing their wares at IFA 2025 in Berlin.
