Tuesday was one of the busiest NFL trade deadline days in recent memory. Just not for the New England Patriots.

While several contenders made significant moves — the Indianapolis Colts acquired cornerback Sauce Gardner from the New York Jets, the Jacksonville Jaguars added wide receiver Jakobi Meyers from the Las Vegas Raiders and the Seattle Seahawks landed wide receiver Rashid Shaheed from the New Orleans Saints, among other notable deals — the Patriots opted to keep their roster intact for the stretch run.
