The pop star has managed to maintain a private life outside of Hollywood over the last three decades.

She reemerged in numerous social media posts earlier this month, shocking fans with her unrecognizable appearance.

Joan’s Instagram followers got a glimpse at the star in an October 2 post, where she took a picture of herself holding up her new vinyl of her Relish album.

She held the record in front of her face, which featured a pic of the curly blonde-haired singer from 30 years ago.

“At last! New #Relish vinyl is finally here!!! 30th Anniversary remastered double-LP arrived prior to Tuesday’s @mimphx show.

“If you can’t pick one up at the merch table, you can follow the link in bio to order your copy!” Joan wrote in her caption.

ICONIC COLLAB

Fans shared their nostalgia for the album and their excitement about purchasing the “remastered” version.

A few weeks later, Joan made another appearance on the Instagram page of The Dixie Carter PAC, a performing arts center in Huntingdon, Tennessee.

She was featured in a video announcing her November 15 performance with another legendary artist from the ’90s, Lisa Loeb.

Joan noted that it was a first-time collaboration by the pair, with Lisa catapulting to stardom with her 1994 hit track, “Stay (I Missed You)” from the film, Reality Bites.

Fans couldn’t hold back their enthusiasm about the collab, and many commented on Joan’s noticeably changed looks.

WHO’S THAT GIRL?

The “What If God Was One Of Us” singer maintained her blonde curls, which flowed down her chest.

However, she ditched the nose ring and heavy makeup she had worn in the past, opting for a more fresh-faced look with purple-framed eyeglasses.

“You’re just as beautiful as you were back then,” one person boasted.

“Just as beautiful as ever. Congratulations!” a second gushed.

The Kentucky native settled in Brooklyn, New York, early in her career and has remained there ever since.

Joan has continued to perform her beloved songs, including many of Bob Dylan‘s, after releasing an album of his songs in 2017 titled Dylanology.
