AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – The Augusta Boxing Club held a bookbag drive on Saturday.
Families were able to come to the club and pick up various supplies for free to get children ready for the upcoming school year.
One of the people from the club said why they felt like giving back.

“Everybody doesn’t have the extra funds to get the kids some of the supplies they need for school. So we try to do our part down here,” said Rayonta Whitfield, Augusta Boxing Club.
