Rogers and its flanker brand Fido are now selling certified pre-owned iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro models at discounted prices, calling them “special offers.” The promotions give customers a chance to get like-new iPhones at lower prices through 24-month 0% financing plans.
Rogers lists the iPhone 16 Pro (128GB, Black) for $865.92, while the iPhone 16 Pro (256GB, Desert Titanium) sells for $1,066.32. The same prices apply through Fido.
The certified pre-owned iPhone 16 is priced at $665.76 outright, while the larger iPhone 16 Plus costs $765.84 outright, both available with 0% financing over 24 months.
Fido says its like-new devices are “minimally used devices that look and function as good as new.” Customers can finance the iPhone 16 Pro for $35 per month, the iPhone 16 Pro Max for $40 per month, the iPhone 16 Plus for $30 per month, and the iPhone 16 for $25 per month, all over 24 months at 0% APR. Taxes are extra.
Both carriers note that certified pre-owned phones go through inspection and quality testing before being resold, offering a lower-cost way to get the newest iPhone models without paying full retail prices.
What you can do is sign up then cancel and repay the full device price amount, which is decent when compared to pricing on Facebook Marketplace (plus you don’t have to worry about being scammed or meeting up in a dark alley).
