Marmozets have issued their first new track in seven years with today’s (November 05th) debut of “Kiss From A Mother“. The British math rockers’ hiatus followed the marriage of bandmates, vocalist Becca Macintyre and guitarist Jack Bottomley, who have also went on to have children together. While motherhood may be a going concern for Becca these days, the song title isn’t exactly an ode to parenthood, as she stated below:

“The message of the song is to make sure you listen, rather than just shoot straight back. Probably everyone can relate to the idea of not letting some advice go in one ear and out the other, let it actually immerse in you. As for my voice, that’s just my spirit coming out! I’m not playing a character; I’m giving it all that I’ve got.”

A third album from the outfit has already been recorded, mixed and mastered as of July of this year, with more details regarding its exact release pending. The group however will be hitting the road shortly, with the following stops booked:
