I sure hope your card trades are doing better than my fantasy trades.
We’re deep enough into the season that your poor fantasy season might be starting to look hopeless; however, the card market is providing opportunities to turn everything around if you’re paying attention. Week to week, we’re seeing clear movement on players who are either finally finding rhythm or suddenly reminding everyone why their prices were sky-high in August.

Let’s take a look at who’s trending up, who’s still undervalued, and which names might not stay affordable for long after an exciting Week 9
Tee Higgins — WR, Bengals
Preseason PSA 10: $66 | Current: ~$80
Higgins has 4 touchdowns in his last 3 games, including two this past weekend plus a two-point conversion. After a frustrating start, he’s found rhythm with Joe Flacco over the last few weeks and looks like the player collectors expected back in September.

His 2020 Prizm Silver PSA 10 is now selling around $80. If you can snag one under $70, it’s a sharp pickup — a classic case of production catching up to perception.
Brock Bowers — TE, Raiders
Preseason PSA 10: $195 | Current: ~$140
Brock Bowers is back, baby. After missing four weeks, he came back with a vengeance: 12 catches on 13 targets for 127 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday’s 30–29 overtime loss to the Jaguars.
His Prizm Silver Rookie PSA 10s dipped into the $130s during his absence, down from nearly $200 before the season. If you can grab one before the market wakes up, you’ll thank yourself. Another game like that and he’ll blow right past his preseason prices.

Drake London — WR, Falcons
Preseason PSA 10: $71 | Current: ~$70
London caught nine of 14 targets for 118 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday’s 24–23 loss to the Patriots, marking his third 100+ yard, 1-TD game of the season. Somehow, his market hasn’t moved at all.
His Prizm Silver PSA 10 rookie still sits around $70 — nearly identical to preseason levels. Betting on Falcons players hasn’t been great for fantasy managers, but if you can buy below that preseason price, this might be the one time it pays off.

Christian McCaffrey — RB, 49ers
Preseason PSA 10: ~$130 | Current: ~$145
He’s made this list multiple times because he really is that good. The No. 1 RB in fantasy football right now, and yet, his 2017 Prizm Silver Rookie PSA 10 is selling for almost the exact same price it was before the season.
People were writing him off then. The hype train is revving back up, don’t miss the boat this time.
Daniel Jones — QB, Colts
Preseason PSA 10: $60 | Current: $325
Daniel Jones has been one of the year’s wildest risers. He threw for a season-high 342 yards last week but also turned the ball over five times. His market probably won’t spike this week, but perspective matters, he’s still having an incredible season.

At ~$325, he’s a fraction of the cost of other young QBs: Jayden Daniels ($800), Drake Maye ($1000), Bo Nix ($485). If the Colts make a playoff push, this could look cheap in hindsight.
Colston Loveland — TE, Bears (Newcomer)
Loveland secured six of seven targets for 118 yards and two touchdowns in the Bears’ 47–42 shootout win over the Bengals. He hasn’t had a stellar season so far but this might be the breakout performance that pushes him forward.

You can grab strong RPAs around $100 and Rookie Autos under $50 — a perfect early play if you believe he’s breaking out. As we saw with Skattebo earlier this year, two or three good weeks from a rookie can launch prices fast. The window’s narrow, but it’s open.
The Takeaway
The fantasy season might be getting long, but the card market never sleeps.
In a hobby where performance and perception collide every Sunday, this is the stretch where collectors can still find value, if they’re paying attention.
Before the next breakout happens, check your eBay watchlist. Some of these windows won’t stay open long.
