The Canadian Football League has released their selections for this year’s All-CFL team.

The roster is made up of the top performers at each position from across the league as they are recognized for their contributions during the regular season.

Some names like BC Lions quarterback Nathan Rourke, Calgary Stampeders running back Dedrick Mills, or Saskatchewan Roughriders wide receiver KeeSean Johnson may stick out among the players to make the team for the first time, it was former Western Mustang Lirim Hajrullahu who received the honour for the kicker position.

Hajrullahu spent the season with the Toronto Argonauts and was good on 89 per cent of his kicks this season. It was his eighth season in the league but this is the first time he has been named to the All-CFL team.

Hajrullahu had previously played in the CFL from 2014-2019 before leaving in 2020 to pursue a NFL career. Since his return last season he’s missed just 11 total kicks and has hit multiple game winners for the Argos.

Hajrullahu played for Western from 2012 until 2014 and broke multiple records in his time with the Mustangs, including at one point holding the record for most point in OUA history.
