Zach Collaros appears to be banged up yet again.

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers announced at halftime on Saturday the starting quarterback would not return to their game against the Toronto Argonauts

Collaros left Winnipeg’s last game in the second quarter with what the club later called a neck injury after taking a big hit, but was deemed fit to play Saturday.

Collaros struggled mightily in the first half against the Argos, completing five of 10 passes for 79 yards and two interceptions. It was unclear whether the QB suffered a new injury or not, but he returned to the Blue Bombers sideline in street clothes.

The 36-year-old has battled turnovers this season, similar to his woes from the 2024 campaign when he tossed 17 touchdowns and 15 picks. Entering Saturday’s contest, the two-time CFL most outstanding player has thrown for 952 yards, seven TDs and six interceptions.

He’s also averaging just 8.4 yards per pass – his lowest total since 2019.

Chris Streveler took the reigns under centre for Winnipeg in the second half against Toronto. In five games this season, the three-year NFL veteran has thrown for 482 yards, four TDs and three picks.
