2.774M viewers tuned in on average for Sunday’s race on NBC as reported by Adam Stern. That’s down from 2.89M last year at the same track.

The rating was 1.44 for the race. That’s down from 1.6 last year.

If you look back just a few years, it’s down significantly. The championship race in 2022 at Phoenix Raceway also aired on NBC but it brought in 3.213M viewers. Sunday’s event brought in nearly a half-million less.

This was the first year in NASCAR’s new TV deal. Viewership is down 14% for the year. However, those numbers were expected as streaming services have less overall exposure to the audience in comparison to the previous TV deal.
