Lamar Jackson returned from injury in Week 9 and immediately threw four touchdowns to lead the Baltimore Ravens to a 28-6 victory over the Miami Dolphins.
The victory was the second in a row for the Ravens who now hold a 3-5 record as they try to climb their way back into the AFC North race.
Jackson missed three games with a hamstring injury before coming back to put on a show at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium.
The 28-year-old threw four touchdowns in a game for the second time this season, after firing the same amount in Week 2 against the Cleveland Browns.
Another thing that Jackson’s Week 2 and 9 performances had in common is that he didn’t throw an interception in either game.
In fact, the Florida native has only thrown one pick this season, in Week 4 against the Kansas City Chiefs, the game where he suffered the hamstring injury that cost him a month of the season.
Jackson threw a career-high 41 touchdowns with only four interceptions last season on his way to finishing second in the NFL’s Most Valuable Player voting.
The four-time Pro Bowler has already captured the MVP award twice, in 2019 and 2023.

Matthew Stafford also threw four touchdowns in Week 9, as he led the Los Angeles Rams to a 34-10 victory over the New Orleans Saints.
The 37-year-old veteran found Davante Adams twice and Puka Nacua and Tyler Higbee once each to power the Rams to their sixth win of the season.
For Stafford however, that wasn’t his highwater performance of the 2025 campaign.
In the Rams previous game, Stafford torched the Jacksonville Jaguars for five touchdowns in a 35-7 win.
The Florida native did not throw an interception in either victory, running his current streak of not having one of his passes picked off to five consecutive games.
He enters Week 10 as the league leader in touchdowns with 21, surpassing the total of 20 he threw last year over 16 games. He has also only thrown two interceptions this year.
Stafford is averaging a league-high 268.4 yards per game in 2025.
“I think he’s playing really well, he’s played a lot of good football over the course of his career, but I think what I’m currently seeing is a guy that’s in total command,” Sean McVay told the media. “That’s not any different than what I’ve seen in previous years. Everybody makes a big deal about these numbers, but what I do think he’s doing a good job of is, he’s not leaving the ball in harms way…He’s been awesome, I think he’s playing excellent football, there’s a lot of instances that I can point to where he’s played great football, that’s why we’re fortunate to have him leading the way.”
Stafford has two, 41 touchdown seasons in his 17-year career, in 2021 with the Rams and in 2011 as a member of the Detroit Lions.
He is ninth all-time in touchdown passes and second among active pivots with 398, behind only Aaron Rodgers who has 520.
