
Jordan Poole is in his 1st season with the Pelicans.
Pelicans guard Jordan Poole will be out of the lineup for at least a week, the team announced Friday.
Per the Pelicans, Poole has been diagnosed with a mild left vastus lateralis (quad) strain. He will be re-evaluated in 7-10 days and will be out of the lineup until then.

Poole is in his seventh NBA season and first with New Orleans after arriving there via a three-team trade in early July. This season, Poole is averaging 18.3 points, 1.7 rebounds and 3 assists per game while shooting 37.6% overall and 35.8% on 3-pointers.
He missed the Pelicans’ last game with a sore knee as New Orleans got its second win of the season by defeating the Dallas Mavericks, 101-99. Poole last played for the Pelicans on Nov. 4, registering 11 points on 3-for-14 shooting in a 116-112 home win against the Charlotte Hornets.
