The afternoon slate is packed with 10 games for Week 10, headlined by the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the early window and the Los Angeles Rams visiting the San Francisco 49ers in the late afternoon. With six divisional matchups on the day, there are plenty of games with potential playoff implications on the line.
The Patriots (7-2) and Buccaneers (6-2) don’t meet often, but this time they match up as two of the top teams in the NFL. New England leads the series 7-3 all-time, having beaten Tampa four of the last five times they played. The Patriots are winners of six in a row and are coming off a narrow victory over Atlanta last week, 24-23. Second-year quarterback Drake Maye has had an excellent start to his year, leading New England to a surprising lead over the Bills in the AFC East.

Tampa Bay dominated New Orleans 23-3 in their last game, before last week’s bye. Baker Mayfield is having an MVP-caliber first half of the season, passing for 1,919 yards, 12 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.

Whew, it was a brutal start for Buffalo in Week 10, failing to score a single point through the first three quarters of the game.
… but it’s never over until it’s over!
Josh Allen and the Bills have begun their attempt at a comeback, opening up the fourth quarter with their first scoring drive of the game.
Allen had three consecutive explosive plays, including a 24-yard pass to WR Tyrell Shavers and a 20-yard pass to TE Dawson Knox, capped off with a 35-yard touchdown to second-year WR Keon Coleman.
Coleman appeared to be off to a red-hot start this year with an 8-112-1 line in Week 1 to open up the season. However, he had failed to exceed 45 yards in a single game since prior to today.
The Bills went for two after the touchdown but were just shy of the goal line on a throw to Khalil Shakir. The Dolphins have a 10-point lead over the Bills with just under 13 minutes to go in the fourth quarter.

The Buccaneers are attempting to mount a comeback in the third quarter, marching 92 yards down the field to score with a touchdown from Baker Mayfield to WR Tez Johnson for 10 yards.
The Bucs attempted a two-point conversion on their version of a “Philly special” but were unsuccessful, as rookie receiver Emeka Egbuka opted to run it up the middle without a pass attempt to a wide-open Baker Mayfield, who was heated toward the end zone.
Patriots maintain a 21-16 lead over the Buccaneers with just over four minutes to go in the third quarter.

The Ravens get tricky!
Tight end Mark Andrews pitches the ball to Lamar Jackson, who bounces it to the outside for a first down.
Jackson completed a 10-yard pass to WR Rashod Bateman and the team was set up for the goal-line carry from running back Justice Hill, who punched it in at the 1-yard line. The Ravens hold a 19-10 lead over the Vikings.

Josh Allen was without one of his top receivers to cap off their second-half opening drive, as tight end Dalton Kincaid hobbled off the field with an apparent leg injury. His absence was apparently felt, as Allen threw an ugly end-zone interception shortly after:
The Bills are still seeking their first points of the game, as the Dolphins hold a 16-0 lead early in the third quarter.

The New York Giants are without breakout rookie running back Cam Skattebo after a season-ending ankle injury brought his Year 1 campaign to a close. But another rookie is stepping up in the run game in his place — QB Jaxson Dart!
Dart became the first rookie quarterback in NFL history to score a rushing touchdown in five consecutive games with a three-yard score in the second quarter Sunday … and he kept the momentum going in the second half. On the Giants’ first drive of the second half, Dart & Co. executed a 56-yard drive, capped off with a 24-yard rushing touchdown from the young QB for his second of the day:
That now marks Dart’s seventh career rushing touchdown through seven starts.
He’s gone 15-of-23 for 205 passing yards through the air in this contest, with veteran Darius Slayton leading the team with 85 receiving yards after a couple of chunk gains in the first half. Second-year tight end Theo Johnson leads the team with seven targets, catching six of them for 71 yards over the Giants’ first six offensive drives.

Houston trails at home, 20-10 to Jacksonville at halftime. Parker Washington was the big story for the Jaguars in the first half, grabbing a receiving touchdown and returning a punt 72 yards for his second TD of the game. The Texans had a slow start but got going late in the first half, scoring all 10 points in the second quarter.

The Miami Dolphins have dominated the Buffalo Bills to open up the game, with Josh Allen & Co. struggling to find any sort of rhythm offensively. In the first half, the Dolphins have outpaced the Bills in:
Total offensive yards (Dolphins’ 207 to Bills’ 83)
Passing yards (122 to 61)
Time of Possession (18:29 to 10:22)
3rd down conversion% (25% to 0%)
The 2-7 Dolphins have a 16-0 lead over the 6-2 Bills heading into halftime.

The New England Patriots were gutsy on the final play of the half, going for it on fourth-and-goal at the 1-yard line with just 0:02 remaining in the second quarter.
Drake Maye found WR Stefon Diggs in the end zone for a one-yard score, and with a successful extra point attempt, the Patriots tied the game up ahead of halftime. That marks three consecutive games where Diggs has scored a touchdown after a seven-game drought to start his career with New England.
The Patriots will get the ball to open the second half.

With a rushing touchdown in Week 10, Giants rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart officially became the first rookie in NFL history to score a rushing touchdown in five consecutive games.
Cam Newton previously held the record in the 2011 season, when he managed five touchdowns over a four-game span. He had 14 total rushing touchdowns that year over 16 starts.
