Legendary designer Bob Mackie has had the distinction of dressing It girls from every era over six decades, counting iconic fashionistas like Cher, Marilyn Monroe, Diana Ross, and Zendaya among his star-studded clientele. And on Saturday night, Hailey Bieber joined the ultra-exclusive Mackie club as she stepped out dressed in a Bond girl-coded creation from the famed couturier.
Mingling with Hollywood’s A-list at Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday party on November 8, Bieber held her own in an archival Bob Mackie LBD seemingly inspired by Vesper Lynd’s plunging black Versace gown from Casino Royale—arguably one of the most famous looks from Bond girl lore. In a nod to actress Eva Green’s sweetheart neckline, fitted bodice, and subtle mermaid fit, Bieber’s Bob Mackie gown featured a halterneck design with thick straps, a form-fitting silhouette, and a bandage wrap design that hugged her curves. Unlike Vesper’s slinky silk number, however, the Rhode Beauty founder’s black dress looked ready for a party with hundreds of sparkling black sequins covering the sultry look from shoulder to toe.
The model pulled her blonde hair back in a sleek side-parted bun, showing off a pair of large diamond stud earrings and an eye-catching diamond tennis necklace. Bieber, who was photographed clutching a Dunkin’ box in one hand as she left the venue at Jeff Bezos’s home in Beverly Hills, also showed off a pair of $1,120 Saint Laurent crystal-strap stiletto sandals that had a black satin design with a bold peep toe in front. The beauty mogul upped the ante on her signature clean girl beauty look, adding a soft smoky eyeshadow, bold mauve lipstick, and a glowing complexion to her outfit.

Bieber’s wasn’t the only glittering look at the star-studded festivities, which drew celebrities like Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, Oprah, and Kylie Jenner. Kim Kardashian channeled Halle Berry from Die Another Day wearing a two-piece purple Balmain skirt set made out of nothing but sheer mesh and crystals. The Skims founder’s look was even more revealing from the back, thanks to a tailbone-plunging waistband and barely-there rhinestone-encrusted straps that held her crop top in place.
