Injuries have been an issue for the seven-time All-Star throughout his career, with his left knee previously being the main problem. Embiid underwent arthroscopic surgery in April 2025 on his left knee.
Embiid won MVP in 2022-23, but followed that by missing 43 games in 2023-24 and 63 last season. He has also sat out for four of Philadelphia’s first 10 games this campaign.
The 31-year-old is averaging 19.7 points and 5.5 rebounds across 23.3 minutes of action in contests he’s appeared in. The Sixers sit seventh in the East at 6-4.
