UFC President Dana White, who joined the Meta board of directors in 2025 alongside Mark Zuckerberg, is speaking out about the Facebook co-founder’s unexpected athleticism. While Zuckerberg has often been portrayed as a socially awkward tech genius, White says appearances can be deceiving.
“People talk shit about Zuckerberg — Zuckerberg’s actually a great athlete,” White said on The Skinny Confidential podcast. “He trains in MMA, he surfs, he does all this shit. Zuckerberg will beat the shit out of you.”
White emphasized that anyone underestimating Zuckerberg online is making a mistake.
“Everybody thinks he’s some computer nerd, Mark Zuckerberg will beat the living shit out of you. All these guys that talk stuff about him on the internet, he’ll kick their ass,” White added.
MMA Training and Public Appearances
Zuckerberg isn’t just dabbling in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. He has participated in grappling tournaments and regularly trains alongside top MMA athletes. He also frequently attends UFC fights cage side, showing his dedication to combat sports.
“That whole thing was fascinating,” White said regarding the proposed Zuckerberg-Musk showdown. “A fun moment in my career … promoting the Elon-Zuckerberg fight and trying to put that thing together was a lot of fun, too.”
A Warning to Internet Tough Guys
White’s message is clear: Zuckerberg is not to be underestimated, whether online or in person.
“The moral of this story is all you telephone tough guys and internet tough guys that talk shit about Mark Zuckerberg — Zuckerberg will beat the shit out of every one of you,” White stated. “Just for the record.”
White’s admiration for Zuckerberg comes from firsthand experience on the Meta board and observing his commitment to fitness and MMA training. For White, the Facebook co-founder embodies a rare mix of tech genius and physical discipline.
