SEATTLE – Washington women’s tennis head coach Robin Stephenson has announced the addition of Nela Jandova.
Jandova makes her way to Montlake from Prague, Czech Republic where she attended Gymnazium Nad Stolou.
In the ITF Junior rankings, Jandova reached as high as 92nd. In 2021, she placed third in the ITA World Junior Tennis Finals. In addition, she has eight ITF Junior doubles titles.
“I chose UW for its strong tennis program and great academics,” Jandova said. “Because of the people here, I felt a positive atmosphere and was truly welcomed.”
While at Washington, Jandova plans to major in business administration.
