Will Ferrell made a hilarious cameo in A Very Jonas Christmas alongside his real-life family.

Opening up the Jonas Brothers‘ new holiday movie, the Barbie star, 58, can be seen struggling to put on a blue shirt with bold letters, saying “Nick & Joe & Kevin.” After he finally gets it on, Ferrell beckons his family to hurry up so they’ll be on time for the show.

“Okay! Let’s go, people!” he says. “We flew all the way to London for this concert. I want to make sure we get there in time to hit the merch stand.”

As the scene unfolds, Ferrell is joined on-screen by his wife Viveca Paulin, whom he first crossed paths with at an acting class in 1995 before tying the knot in 2000, and their three boys: Axel, 15, Mattias, 18, and Magnus, 21. The Elf actor obsesses over limited-edition merchandise as he rushes his family out the door.

“Important? Tonight isn’t just important, Viveca. Tonight is my Super Bowl. When I’m having a bad day and everybody’s asking me, ‘When are you gonna make Anchorman 3? When are you gonna make Elf 2? When are you going to make Moana 6? I’m not even in Moana!” he tells his wife. “You know what I think about to get through that?”

In response, his wife sweetly grabs his hands before saying, “Me and the kids.”

“What? No,” Ferrell hilariously replies, letting go of her hands. “I think about tonight and watching my three kings as they share their gift with the world.”

“Does that make sense?” Ferrell adds, looking at his family, who all wear the same expression on their faces. “Alright. Let’s go! Let’s go!”

The next scene shows Ferrell and his family in the front as he looks at them and says, “I’m so happy we got here four hours early.”

Ahead of the movie’s premiere on Hulu and Disney+, the Jonas Brothers joined The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to talk about their new film. During the chat with host Jimmy Fallon, the brothers and bandmates Nick, Kevin and Joe Jonas, opened up about getting the “King of Christmas” to cameo in their holiday special. The “Jealous” singer, 33, revealed that they originally thought there was “no chance” that he’d do the cameo, saying it ended up being “incredible.”

“Basically, I did a cameo in he and Reese Witherspoon‘s movie Cordially Invited last year. And when we were talking about who could possibly set the stage for the tone of this movie and the feel, there was one person that came to mind. It was obviously Will Ferrell,” he told Fallon, 51.

“But we all thought there’s no chance he’ll actually do it,” he continued. “So we reached out, and he said, ‘Yeah, I’ll be there and I’ll bring my family. They’ll be in it, too.’ And it’s just incredible.”

The new film follows the Jonas Brothers as they race from London to New York in order to make it home in time for Christmas with their families. Each of the brothers’ real-life families also made cameos in the film, with Nick and his wife Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ daughter Malti is making her on-screen debut in the film.

In the last scene of the movie, the brothers head back home to spend Christmas with their families. Nick can be seen hugging his wife, as the 3½-year-old daughter of the musician and his actress wife sits between their arms. Although Malti’s face is turned from the camera, she can be seen wearing a silver headband and a black outfit, hugging her parents as they sweetly kiss.

The proud dad is also seen FaceTiming his daughter and wife in the first half of the movie before racing across the world to get home in time for Christmas.

A Very Jonas Christmas Movie premieres Friday, Nov. 14, on Disney+ and Hulu.
