Special guests, football fan favourites and over 60 CFLAA alumni gathered Friday at the RBC Convention Centre to celebrate alumni achievements and the Indigenous Champion of the Year.
The Grey Cup luncheon event, presented by the Free Press, also featured a silent auction with its proceeds supporting the CFLAA Alumni Support Fund and Winnipeg Blue Bombers Alumni, helping former players and their families.
Attendees were encouraged to wear their beloved CFL team’s colours and engage with all of the stars at the event.

Free Press CEO Mike Power said that as western Canada’s oldest newspaper, the Free Press has always been a part of Grey Cup coverage and is delighted to be adding yet another chapter as Winnipeg hosts this year’s championship game.
