JR Motorsports, co-owned by NASCAR’s very own star, Dale Earnhardt Jr., has made some great strides in the Xfinity Series. The team had already made its Cup Series debut earlier this year at the iconic Daytona 500 and achieved some notable results in its very first entry. Now, Justin Allgaier is set to return to racing at Daytona in the coming season with JRM again.

Justin Allgaier drove the No.40 Chevrolet and had a difficult start to the weekend following a mediocre Qualifying outing. JRM and Allgaier went on to achieve a P9 finish at the 2025 Daytona 500 after nearly avoiding a massive wreck in the final stages of the race. Now, the 39-year-old will return to racing at the 68th running of the highly iconic event with the same team and hopes for even better results this time around.

Justin Allgaier has already won the NASCAR Xfinity Series title back in 2024 (soon to be renamed to NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series). As such, JRM took to social media and revealed the news of their second entry in the Cup Series at the Daytona 500. The team shared a video with Allgaier, highlighting all the team’s achievements and his previous entries at the historic NASCAR circuit.

Further, the video contained an epic montage of Justin Allgaier’s previous outing at the Daytona 500 with JRM and his meteoric rise from P19 to P9. Certainly, Allgaier is one of the better drivers when it comes to racing at the iconic short oval. For now, the team expects a winning performance from the 39-year-old at the upcoming race.

How about another round in Daytona?
