OnePlus has released the first software update for its newly announced flagship, the OnePlus 15, bringing a host of changes aimed at delivering an even better phone experience for new owners. It’s a huge update that not only brings performance enhancements but also adds several new features like the ability to set videos as ringtones, new customizations, and an updated interface for AI LinkBoost Network Engine.

The update is rolling out in batches to both the Indian and Global variants of the OnePlus 15 (view on Amazon) and can be identified by the build numbers CPH2745_16.0.1.303 and CPH2747_16.0.1.303, respectively.

The standout improvement is faster app launches from the home screen, which should make day-to-day navigation even snappier. In addition, the update spruces up the “Ring” fingerprint animation on the lock screen, which now gets a new glowing effect. The update includes the November 2025 security patch, and there are some big additions on the customization front as well.

For example, Flux theme editing now lets you resize the clock, widgets can finally be renamed, and you can now drag one widget onto another of the same size to create a cleaner homescreen setup. Meanwhile, the Photos app now lets you enable automatic straightening when cropping portraits or architectural shots.

Finally, the AI LinkBoost Network Engine has also been updated. You can now see optimization stats, get real-time alerts when your network is being accelerated under poor network conditions, and run tests for latency and upload/download speeds.
