A new report says John Cena will probably headline the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame after he retires.

Cena is almost finished with his farewell tour. He has only two appearances left one at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames on November 29 and his final match on December 13 at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event in Washington, D.C.

This week’s RAW featured Cena’s final appearance on the red brand at Madison Square Garden. He wrestled his last WWE RAW match with Sheamus and Rey Mysterio, beating Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, and Dominik Mysterio. Earlier that night, Dominik Mysterio interrupted Cena he was furious about the Intercontinental Title lost.

He demanded a rematch, and Cena eventually agreed to face him again at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames. Now, new reports say the 17-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion is the top pick to lead next year’s Hall of Fame 2026 class.

According to Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Live, many believe John Cena is very likely to headline the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame. He said, “Belief is Cena very likely the 2026 Hall of Fame main eventer.”

However, while many expect Cena to be involved, WWE has not confirmed this. As of now, there is only one confirmed name for the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame. If he is inducted next year, he will join Stephanie McMahon, whose induction was announced by The Undertaker at WWE WrestlePalooza in September.
