Investigators believe the animal was killed between Oct. 24-26
HEARST – A moose that was killed and left to waste near Hearst has the Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) asking for the public’s help.Â
A forestry company reported finding a bull moose in a cut block off of Mitchell Chutes Road in Roche Township south of Hearst. It was at the end of P-6 Road, near a strip road and wood pile. The MNR believes the moose was shot between Oct. 24 and 26.
The MNR is looking to identify who is responsible for killing and abandoning the animal.Â
