Three-time DP World Tour winner Victor Perez is the latest player to jump ship and join LIV Golf.
Cleeks Golf Club have announced the signing of PGA Tour star Victor Perez to complete its lineup for the 2026 LIV season.
Perez, who has been an active member across the PGA and DP World Tours for the last two years, is the first Frenchman to join the league and replaces Frederik Kjettrup, who was relegated following the conclusion to the 2025 season. The World No.122 joins a Cleeks team led by two-time major champion Martin Kaymer, as well as Adrian Meronk and England’s Richard Bland.
“Joining Cleeks Golf Club for the 2026 season feels like joining golf’s next great chapter, as this club continues to push boundaries, perform at the highest level, and bring fresh energy and vision to the game,” Perez, who represented France in the 2024 Paris Olympics, said.
“The sport’s growth has been incredible, and LIV Golf’s innovation and energy are driving it forward. I’m excited to be part of that momentum and can’t wait to get started in Riyadh.”
Perez, 33, is a three-time winner on the DP World Tour, with his last success coming at the Abu Dhabi Championship in 2023. He was one of 10 players to earn a PGA Tour card through his Race to Dubai ranking later that season, though he had been facing a fight to hold onto it after registering one top 10 across 25 starts this year.
He was listed in the field to compete at this week’s RSM Classic, but withdrew shortly before his departure to LIV was announced. He currently sits 108th in the FedEx Cup Fall standings and would have needed a top-five finish to retain his card for another season.
Perez is now slated to make his LIV Golf debut in February for the 2026 season opener in Riyadh.
“There’s been tremendous interest in joining Cleeks Golf Club, and we’re thrilled to welcome Victor as the final piece of our roster,” Kaymer said.
“With LIV Golf driving innovation in the game, we’re focused on building not just a stronger team but also contributing to building the next generation of global golf stars. Victor embodies the precision and passion that will help us forge that path.”
