Rogers and Fido are offering a solid deal on pre-owned Apple iPhone 16 (128GB) units, available in Black, Pink, or Ultramarine.

The outright iPhone 16 pre-owned price is at $665.76 plus tax. For comparison, Apple sells a brand-new iPhone 16 for $999, making this a notable discount of 33% and better than dealing with Facebook Marketplace. At this price it also beats the $699 iPhone 16e deal from Walmart, if you’re okay with a pre-owned phone (they are usually in decent shape and are customer returns).

Buyers on RFD haven’t confirmed battery cycle counts or condition yet, but early reports say units should be in decent shape. One user says they ordered two and will update once they arrive.

To get the deal, select “No Term” at checkout. Rogers lists a minimum $30 plan, while Fido has a $19 plan. Some people say you can add a new line at the cheapest plan, receive the phone, and cancel the plan afterward and repay the full amount owing, as per your rights within the CRTC Wireless Code of Conduct.

The iPhone 16e ($899 new) has the same A18 chip as the iPhone 16 ($999 new) but with fewer premium features. It uses a single 48-MP rear camera instead of the iPhone 16’s dual-camera setup, so you lose the ultra-wide lens and some versatility.

The lower-cost iPhone 16e also skips extras like MagSafe and the Dynamic Island, making it a more stripped-down version designed to hit a lower price. The regular iPhone 16, meanwhile, gives you better camera options, more premium features, and a brighter display, making it the more complete everyday phone if you want the full experience.

This is one of the lowest upfront prices available right now for an iPhone 16 in Canada. It might be worth it for an upgrade to the kiddo’s phone. Buying online means you won’t get dinged the $80 connection fee, but you’ll need to fork out $25 for shipping.
