The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have interviewed Tommy Condell for their offensive coordinator position, sources have confirmed to 3DownNation. TSN was the first to report the news.

The longtime CFL assistant coach was the offensive coordinator with the Ottawa Redblacks for the past two seasons after previously serving in similar roles with the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Hamilton Tiger-Cats, and Toronto Argonauts.

Condell worked closely with franchise quarterback Zach Collaros when he was the offensive coordinator of the Tiger-Cats in 2014 and 2015. His first CFL coaching job came with the Blue Bombers back in 1997 as their special teams coordinator.

The Blue Bombers have also reportedly been granted permission to interview Toronto Argonauts quarterbacks coach Mike Miller for the job, which was held by Jason Hogan in 2025. It remains unclear if Hogan is under contract with Winnipeg for next year as head coach Mike O’Shea recently declined to address the status of his assistants.

The Blue Bombers ranked fifth in net offence, third in net defence, and eighth with a turnover differential of minus-eleven. The club’s leading rusher was Brady Oliveira with 1,163 yards, leading receiver was Nic Demski with 1,001 yards, and leading tackler was Tony Jones with 104 tackles. Winnipeg ranked first in attendance with average crowds of 32,343, which was a 3.7 percent increase from the previous year.

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats finished first in the East Division standings in 2025 with an 11-7 record, though the team lost the East Final to the Montreal Alouettes. Bo Levi Mitchell led the CFL with 5,296 passing yards, 36 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions after starting all 18 regular-season games, earning the East Division’s nomination for Most Outstanding Player.
