The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have added quarterback Bryce Perkins, signing the former NFL and UFL standout to a futures contract.
Perkins, 28, arrives with experience across multiple leagues, including three NFL seasons with the Los Angeles Rams and Carolina Panthers, and two strong years in the UFL with the Michigan Panthers. He earned UFL MVP and Offensive Player of the Year honours in 2025 after throwing for 1,342 yards and nine touchdowns, and adding 269 rushing yards and five scores in six starts.
Originally signed by the Rams as an undrafted free agent in 2020, Perkins appeared in five NFL games and was part of L.A.’s 2021 Super Bowl-winning roster. He made one NFL start, recording a touchdown pass and 44 rushing yards.
Perkins will join Winnipeg as the club begins building toward the next CFL season.
