Two people have been arrested after a fight broke out at a Hamilton Mountain school and sent a teen to the hospital.

Hamilton police said the fight happened on Nov. 24 at Nora Frances Henderson Secondary School on Upper Sherman Avenue, near Rymal and Miles roads.

Police said upon arrival, officers met with a 17-year-old male who is a student at the school. They said he had injuries to his arm and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Two people were arrested at the scene.

A 16-year-old male is facing charges of assault cause bodily harm and two counts of possession of prohibited weapon.

A 19-year-old male faces one charge of assault cause bodily harm.

Police believe there were more people involved in the attack, including students and non-students.
