2025 CSC Academic All-District® Men’s Soccer



GREENWOOD, Ind. – Four members of Washington College men’s soccer have been named to the 2025 CSC Academic All-District® for men’s soccer. Sophomore goalkeeper Hannes Budde (Hummelstown, Pa./Hershey), senior midfielder Tyler Davidson (Medford, N.J./Shawnee), senior back Ryan Sharpley (Medford, N.J./Shawnee) and junior midfielder Tucker Sprano (Annandale, Va./Falls Church) were selected to the Academic All-District® team by members of the College Sports Communicators. The quartet is eligible to be named CSC All-America®, which will be announced on December 16.

The team recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. To be on the team, a student-athlete must have a GPA (grade-point average) of at least 3.50 and is not rounded up. All four are first-time members of the team.

Budde was picked All-Centennial Conference honorable in earning all-conference for the first time earlier this month. He played and started in a career-high 15 games this season, tallying a 1.27 goals-against average, a .736 save percentage, 53 saves and three shutouts. The sophomore was named Academic All-Centennial and to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for the first time yesterday. 

The sophomore is a double major in Business and Pre-Med and currently has a 3.921 grade-point average.

Davidson earned All-CC honors for the second straight year earlier this month with his first team selection and is a two-time All-Centennial pick. The senior was second on the team in goals with a career-high four was tops on the squad in minutes played with 1539. He was named Academic All-Centennial for the second straight year yesterday and was also named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for the third time.

The senior is a Business Administration major and currently has a 3.959 grade-point average. 

Sharpley garnered all-conference honorable mention earlier this month.  This season the senior appeared in 17 games for WC this season, registering 15 starting assignments. He scored one goal this season in a 1-0 win over Salisbury on September 7 and helped WC record three shutouts this fall. The back is a three-time member of the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll and two-time Academic All-Centennial selectee.

The senior is an Engineering major and currently has a 3.791 grade-point average.

Sprano landed on the All-Centennial second team earlier this month and led the team with five goals, two-game winning scores and 13 points. He was named Academic All-Centennial for the first time and to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for the second straight campaign yesterday. He was selected all-conference for the first time this fall.

The junior is a double major in Sociology and Spanish and currently has a 3.574 grade-point average.
