NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The St. Olaf College men’s and women’s soccer teams both put six student-athletes on the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District ® Teams, as announced last week.
Senior Katie Beaudry, senior Cat Duffy-Shaw, junior Emily Johnson, senior Marit Klagge, senior Megan Timmerman, and junior Wren VanDeWalker represented St. Olaf on the women’s list, while junior Ryan Bechtel, senior Ben Beckman, senior Robi Buzakovic, junior Sean Elster, senior Jack Hobday, and senior Caspar Olseth did so on the men’s list.
In order to be recognized on the CSC Academic All-District ® Teams, student-athletes must have a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.50, compete in at least 90 percent of their institution’s games or start in 66 percent of the contests, and be at least a sophomore academically and athletically.
Beaudry, Duffy-Shaw, Beckman, and Olseth all landed their maximum third CSC Academic All-District ® accolade, while Johnson, Klagge, Timmerman, Bechtel, and Buzakovic earned their second. VanDeWalker, Elster, and Hobday were first-time honorees.
Beaudry, Duffy-Shaw, and Johnson advanced to the women’s Academic All-America ® ballot, while Bechtel, Beckman, Buzakovic, Hobday, and Olseth moved onto the men’s nationwide ballot. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America ® honorees will be announced on Dec. 16.
