A list of Alouettes signings during the 2025-26 offseason, updated as of Dec. 1:
New players
Kahzir Brown (defensive back), through 2027: The 22-year-old from Trenton, N.J., made 44 tackles and had two interceptions in 12 games with the Florida Atlantic Owls last season.
Giles Jackson (wide receiver), through 2027: The 23-year-old from Antioch, Calif., had two catches for nine yards in two preseason games this year with the Philadelphia Eagles. He had 24 catches for 309 yards and rushed for 74 yards, plus 976 yards and two touchdowns as a kick returner with the University of Michigan.
Westley Neal Jr. (defensive lineman), through 2027: Played four seasons at Rhode Island University, making 121 tackles, 7.5 sacks and one interception in 42 games.
R.J. Perry (offensive lineman), through 2027: The 23-year-old from Fairfield, Ala., played three seasons at Tennessee University and another two at University of South Florida.
Terrence Spence (defensive back), through 2027: Had five interceptions including a pick-six for James Madison University in 2024, raking him in the top five nationally.
Contract extensions
Isaac Gaillardetz (wide receiver), through 2028: The 24-year-old was selected 53rd overall in the 2025 CFL Draft, and was part of Montreal’s training camp before this season. He was named to the RSEQ offensive all-star team in his final season with Laval, with 31 receptions, 512 yards and four touchdowns in eight games.
Pier-Olivier Lestage (guard), through 2028: The 28-year-old, 6-foot-3 and 305 pounds, was named the Alouettes’ most outstanding offensive lineman in 2024. He was selected 10th overall by Montreal in the 2021 CFL Draft and played three exhibition games with the Seattle Seahawks after playing for the Université de Montréal Carabins.
Jose Maltos Diaz (kicker), through 2027: The 34-year-old had 58 field goals, a franchise record, this season, and also holds the record for the longest field goal at 58 yards in a win over Calgary.
Donald Ventrelli (offensive lineman), through 2027: The 25-year-old played in 17 games with Montreal this season and scored a touchdown Sept. 13 at Saskatchewan when he recovered a fumble near the goal line.
From the practice roster
Decarius Hawthorne (defensive lineman), through 2027: The 23-year-old from Birmingham, Ala., joined the Alouettes’ practice roster in October. Was previously with the Buffalo Bills and L.A. Rams, and had 40 tackles and 2.5 sacks for the University of South Florida in 2024, after four seasons at Florida Atlantic University where he had 46 tackles and five sacks.
E.J. Perry (quarterback), through 2027: The 27-year-old from Andover, Mass., had been on the Alouettes practice roster since October, and on the Jacksonville Jaguars’ practice roster in 2022. Played 20 games with the Brown University Bears, finishing second all-time in total offensive yards and pass completions.
