Bissonnette was last seen leaving her house in Aberdeen around 9:30 a.m. last Wednesday (Nov. 26). She was reportedly headed to her son’s – Trevor’s brother – house in Batchelor Heights, but never arrived.

On Friday, RCMP said they had new information to indicate that Sheri-Lynn may have been in the Surrey-area, but they did not elaborate further.

Her disappearance led to numerous searches in the Kamloops-area, including by the family and well-wishers as well as the Search, Rescue, and Detection K9s (SRD K9s) of BC.

Sources to CFJC confirmed the discovery of Bissonnette’s body earlier Monday, but no further details were provided. Police have also not yet released any information.

“We would like to thank everyone who actively searched and helped us during the last few days,” Purpur added. “We have no words to express our gratitude for the support this community has shown.”

This is a developing story, and more information will be provided once it’s available.
