Thanks for following along! I hope you were able to score some great deals this Cyber Monday.

2025-12-02T02:35:33.720Z

I’m going to leave you tonight with a few deals on some boring-but-critical parts. While Cyber Monday is a good opportunity to get some holiday shopping done, it’s also an opportunity to save while you stock up on maintenance items.

Rotors, pads, chains, cassettes — those parts you’d rather ignore are also the ones that can get pricey if you let your routine maintenance slide. Here are some money-saving deals you may want to take advantage of:

Cyber Monday deal on a down “puffy” jacket, but don’t sleep on this killer markdown on Specialized’s Packable Down Jacket. This lightweight layer uses a premium blend of ALLIED Feather + Down and PrimaLoft® Bio™ synthetic fibres for warmth and protection in variable conditions. Plus, it’s a more sustainable, hypoallergenic insulation — all without adding bulk.

Despite its bike-brand roots, this jacket is anything but a single-use piece of gear. Yes, I’ve worn it bikepacking and on winter MTB rides, but mostly, it’s been a do-it-all jacket for the shoulder seasons. The one I grab for errands, dog walks, hikes and chilly fall evenings in the soccer stadium. A true grab-and-go jacket, in the saddle and out!

cycling helmets, I’m a total creature of habit. Once I find a model I love, I’ll wear it until it’s dented or worn out, only to buy the exact same one again. That’s why I’ve been in Giro helmets for about 12 years. I like the fit, the lightweight performance, the breathability, and honestly, the look.

I wore various iterations of the Giro Synthe for at least eight years before eventually upgrading to the Aries Spherical, which I’ve now been riding in for the past three seasons. Different colourways, sure, but always the same model.

The top-of-the-line Giro Aries Spherical has that distinct Giro aesthetic: sleek, low-profile, large vents and slightly round. It’s also one of the highest-rated helmets for safety, scoring at the top of Virginia Tech’s independent testing, all while remaining impressively airy and breathable.

For me, the Aries Spherical checks every box: it’s comfortable, lightweight, highly protective, and it looks good. Plus, the retention system leaves plenty of room to route my ponytail, which, for me, is non-negotiable.

I am telling you all this, of course, because I’ve just spotted a 25% deal. The Aries Spherical doesn’t go on sale often, so here’s your chance to save big on a top-end lid.

good cycling computer is a must-have piece of kit but they are quite spendy. One that’s for sure worth its price is the Garmin Edge 540 Solar. It was released in 2022, so it’s not new yet. At least three gearheads on staff continue relying on this small yet powerful device, myself included.

Despite its compact size — 2.3″ x 3.4″ x 0.8″ and just 85 grams — the 540 Solar packs a sharp colour display, deep training features and a standout battery life. On bikepacking trips and ultra-endurance events, I’ve been repeatedly impressed by its ability to run up to 30 hours with GPS running, and a heart rate monitor and electronic shifting connected.

Right now, Mike’s Bikes Cyber Monday sale has the Edge 540 Solar for an unbeatable $249, which is easily the lowest price we’ve seen yet.

indoor setup?

Right now, you can get $270 off the Wahoo Kickr Move, 27% off a KICKR Core 2 with Zwift Cog and Click, or 28% off the Tacx Flux 2 — all well-reviewed products that will last you for many winter seasons to come! Plus, with the money you save, you can buy yourself a membership to an indoor training or racing platform like Wahoo SYSTM, TrainerRoad, Zwift or MyWhoosh.

Earlier Meg pointed out the great deal on the Garmin Edge 1040 bike computer for UK readers, so I thought I’d do the same for those of you in the US… the smaller but equally brilliant Edge 840 Solar is still available at REI, with 20% off retail.

52% off the POC Cytal MIPS at Sigma Sports.

If the hefty discount hasn’t already had you reaching for the ‘buy now’ button, then I’ll also remind you that Andy Turner gave the lid a five-star review when he tested it.

The Rapha Classic long sleeve jersey was the first item I bought from the brand many moons ago. I still wear it today and I wrote a dedicated deals post highlighting the Black Friday discount

Kask Protone Icon, and the Lazer Z1, far more affordable.

Thenh there’s the Castelli Alpha Doppio, which James Shrubsall has selected for recommendation. It’s a jacket that came out on top in our winter jacket buyers guide, and is again offered with a significant discount in both the US and the UK.

Dream bikes often remain just that thanks to their hefty price tags. But Cyber Monday does serve as perhaps the best opportunity to take the plunge. I recently helped edit Andy Carr’s review of the new Cervelo S5 aero road bike, and I know how much he enjoyed riding it, praising its handling and improved comfort compared to the previous model.

In fact, the only real downside is the price, but Mike’s Bikes have a whopping 31% off today, which translates to a saving of $4,000! Yes, the bike’s still costly but this is a cutting edge WorldTour race bike we’re talking about… sizes are limited so you’ll need to act now if your size is still in stock.

how much you can save across the site and now there’s some additional discounts to be enjoyed on clothing that typically score highly in our reviews – the brand’s ARC gravel collection has extra 20% off today, with most of the featured garments already discounted between 20-40%.

There’s plenty to choose from but I’m going to draw your attention to the long sleeve merino jersey. I’m a big fan of merino wool and its application for cycling clothing and Andy Turner rated the jersey when he reviewed it earlier this year… and now there’s more than $100 off retail.

Thule Chasm Wheeled Carry-on Duffel is our tech editor Andy Carr’s go-to travel bag – and it is 20% off, reduced from $249.99.

The DryGuy shoe drier! I enviously spotted a friend using one of these to dry his muddy, soaking wet shoes after a mountain bike ride this weekend. Unfortunately for me, his didn’t come with the option of drying four shoes at once like this $93.99 one, currently on 16% off on Amazon.

It’s the last day to get bargains before the post-Christmas mayhem, and Decathlon – just like Sigma Sports – have a giant countdown slapped onto their homepage. Six hours and counting until the deals are up!

And the first big reduction listed in their sales is the Garmin Edge 1040 GPS cyclometer – reduced from £599.99 to £349.99.

26% off these £8 hydro tablets and 23% off this £45 Specialized Pathfinder TLR Gravel Tyre. All with an additional 20% off at check out!

Rapha’s 50% off archive sale – they’ve even got some colourful jerseys!

I’ll admit it! I don’t know much about indoor trainers – but I do know that they are great alternatives to riding outside in this wintery weather. And that they can be expensive.

Our tech writer, Aaron Borrill just found this Saris H3 Plus smart trainer for £279.99, reduced from £600. He reckons it’s the best deal of Cyber Monday.

Afternoon, everyone! Thanks to James for holding the fort for the last few hours. We’re still seeing a steady stream of last-minute deals coming through, so keep an eye on our hub for more details!

the Cycling Weekly staff’s Christmas Wishlist. I feel slightly embarrassed at having picked the most expensive thing on it, but never mind.

Have a look – you might find something on there to inspire you, and if you click through the links you might find some great Cyber Monday deals too.

If you’ve not seen it already colleague Matt has just published an interesting look into the rise of TPU inner tube that – naturally, this being Cyber Monday – includes a few great deals both in the US and the UK. One of these even amounts to 49% off!

The only downside is cost – on days that aren’t Cyber Monday, at least.

2025-12-01T14:36:00.250Z

While I was over at Balfe’s Bikes, I spotted this SRAM PG-1130 11-speed cassette, which has 20% off, reduced from £96 to £77. It is, in fact, just what I need for my own bike, and I’ve never spotted it cheaper. Into the basket it went!

It’s one of what seems to be a pretty vast range of component deals at Balfe’s – check it out.

2025-12-01T14:15:36.763Z

I’ve just had word from colleagues that the deals on the Garmin 1040 GPS computer are dwindling, with UK retailers pushing the prices back up. There is one great deal still around though, and that’s at Balfe’s Bikes, which still has it priced at £339 – that’s 23% off SRP.

If you’re spending this Cyber Monday doing some winter dreaming of summer bikepacking adventures, I might have just the ticket for you. I’ve just spotted the venerable Kona Rove DL at Jenson USA with a full 50% off – reduced from $1,999 all the way down to $999.94.

Every size from 48 to 54cm available – but you do have to like green.

2025-12-01T13:36:55.521Z

Back over at Saddleback, I came across these rather cool looking gravel shoes from Italian brand Sidi. I’ve been looking for some gravel-orientated shoes for a while, and with 40% off, I could definitely be tempted by these.

2025-12-01T13:06:38.038Z

One of the great things about filming your riding, whether using a drone or an action cam, is that you get to relive it again and again. The fun never stops!

With that in mind, there are some great Amazon US deals on the GoPro Hero 13 and, especially, GoPro Hero 13 bundles, with a 30% off the GoPro HERO13 Black Extended Power Bundle.

If you’re in the UK you’re in luck too – the Hero 13 is 28% off, reduced from £399.99 to £287.07.

2025-12-01T12:47:32.593Z

So I delved a bit deeper into the accessories available at Tredz and found this 29% off deal on a Topeak Joe Blow III pump that really did blow me away. (No. Just no. – Ed)

I’ve had this pump in my garage for more years than I care to remember (the same one – I’ve never needed to replace it, or any parts). It still looks great and it still inflates tyres with gusto – including all my tubeless set-ups.

2025-12-01T12:35:44.729Z

If you’re out for bargains this Cyber Monday, which let’s face it we all are, one item you might not be looking at buying is Tadej Pogačar’s Y1RS – currently on auction at Sothebys.

So far up to $15,000, it’s the bike he rode the Tour de France, the Worlds and Il Lombardia on. Probably not a Cyber Monday thing.

However one thing that definitely is, are these diamond angle grinder-resistant On Guard Rock Solid D-locks, which my colleague Meg has found, now with $54 and £50 off in the US and UK.

2025-12-01T12:16:09.686Z

Good afternoon everyone (just about now, in the UK). James Shrubsall here with you for the next few hours, helping you search out the best bargains on the greatest pieces of kit on what is the final day of the Black Friday Weekend.

Tredz also has these 10% off codes available, which look as though they apply to sale and full-price items. Quids in!

It doesn’t have to be clothes or tech, either. Books are also on offer this Black Friday.

2025-12-01T11:34:22.047Z

Another thing to look out for today – and stock up on – is cheap nutrition products, like gels, bars and electrolyte tablets.

2025-12-01T11:28:28.142Z

It’s possible that brands will keep some of their discounting after the end of Cyber Monday today – but we can’t be sure of it.

Keep an eye out too for special Black Friday weekend bonuses on offer: for example, free shipping and free returns – it’s unlikely these will continue beyond today.

Buy it now, and Zwift will also throw in a free two-month subscription to its virtual training and racing platform.

cyclo-cross. I’m yet to take the plunge on a new bike, though, but with £850 off, this offer on a Canyon Inflite is very tempting.

Halfords – “the best chain deal ever,” he says.

Rapha sale? I’ll be honest, I’ve already got plenty of on-bike kit, so I’d be looking at the casual wear.

The biggest obstacle you’ll find this Monday will be stock availability – a lot of sites have been ransacked – but don’t fear, we’re keeping everything up to date.

🛌 Nearly time for bed…

2025-11-30T22:27:40.927Z

Probably the last serious bike-related post before I press the pause button on this until tomorrow morning.

We also know that the Zwift sale will end tomorrow. So, it’s worth securing your Wahoo Kickr Core 2 or Zwift Ride before then. Again, direct with Zwift.

Easily the biggest deal of the day again goes to Hannah and Garmin for this Epix Pro deal—an enormous saving of over $500. Hannah genuinely had to ask if Garmin knew about this.

Ass Savers Win Wing2

Following on from Adam’s fender recommendations, here is a cracking little stocking filler for your cycling pals, or the gravel cyclist in your life. The Ass Saver Win Wing2 is an odd looking thing but boy do they work. Our North American Editor Rook, says it’s the best bicycle accessory for under $30 hands down. For Cyber Monday you can get the Win Wing 2 Gravel Stealth for just 20 Euros. (shipped globally and to the UK, of course, but Tredz also have them for under £20).

There is a ton of colour options available, and they will do a custom one if you feel like you really want to treat someone.

For our US readers, while they aren’t on offer you can get the Win Wing 2 Gravel via Amazon, but they are only $30, so why not!
