John Hufnagel will be joining the Toronto Argonauts in a senior advisory role, according to TSN’s Dave Naylor.

The 74-year-old initially began his coaching career with the Calgary Stampeders in 1990, becoming the offensive coordinator and assistant head coach during his six years in Alberta.
Then after stints in the NFL and in the Arena Football League, Hufnagel returned to the CFL with the Stampeders in 2008.
Since then, he has held multiple roles with the Stampeders for nearly two decades, including head coach, general manager, president, and most recently as an advisor.
Hufnagel is a four-time Grey Cup champion as a coach/general manager, claiming victories in 1992, then three once he returned in 2008, 2014, and 2018.
Hufnagel also claimed two coach of the year awards in 2008 and 2014.
