Bringing the Heat host Trey Lyle is joined by Michael Massie and Dalton Hopkins, who were both in the Charlotte, N.C., courtroom on Tuesday, Dec. 2 for day two of the antitrust lawsuit between NASCAR and 23XI Racing/Front Row Motorsports.
Massie and Hopkins provide their firsthand accounts of what they witnessed on the first full day of witnesses. They give their thoughts of Denny Hamlin‘s cross-examination after the 23XI co-owner faced some tough questions from NASCAR lawyer Lawrence Buterman.
The second and final witness of the day was Scott Prime, NASCAR evp and chief strategy officer, who didn’t hold up too well to 23XI/FRM attorney Jeffrey Kesler’s intense line of questioning. Lyle, Massie and Hopkins get into why they believe Prime’s time on the stand so far has not been very helpful to NASCAR’s overall case.
