Toronto police have arrested a man they say is responsible for making hate-motivated threats against members of the 2SLGBTQI+ communities online earlier this year.
Police say the man allegedly posted a threatening message on a social media platform on Oct. 6 directed towards members of the queer community.
On Nov. 29, police arrested Andrew Scott Carrick, 27, of Goodwood, Ont., and charged him with uttering death threats.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 8.
Police are treating the investigation as a suspected hate-motivated offence.
