Week 14 in the NFL is here and games from around the league hold important playoff implications with just five weeks remaining in the regular season.

TSN will carry a total of six games this week, highlighted by the Dallas Cowboys’ late season playoff push, an important AFC South clash, NFL RedZone, and the teams from last year’s Super Bowl looking to get back on track following losses last time out.

Here is a game-by-game look at all of the action being shown on the network this week.

Cowboys vs. Lions – Thursday Night Football

Week 14 kicks off with an NFC clash in Detroit with Jared Goff and the Lions taking on Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys.

Watch the Lions host the Cowboys LIVE Thursday at 8:15 p.m. ET / 5:15 p.m. PT on TSN1/3, TSN.ca, and the TSN App.

The Lions (7-5) come into the contest having lost three of the past five games, including a loss to the Green Bay Packers on U.S. Thanksgiving last time out.

Goff has quietly put together an impressive season in his first year without former offensive coordinator Ben Johnson, posting the sixth-best passing yardage mark (3,025) and the second-most touchdowns among all NFL quarterbacks.

Amon-Ra St. Brown, Goff’s top target, is likely a game-time decision for the tilt against Dallas after sustaining an ankle injury in the loss to Green Bay.

“It hurts, but it’s getting better,” St. Brown told reporters after missing practice on Tuesday. “So, that’s the good news. Just day by day. Just trying to make sure I’m out there for my guys.”

“I know this, if he can play, he’ll play,” head coach Dan Campbell said of his star receiver. “That’s the best way to say it.”

If St. Brown were to miss the contest, Jameson Williams figures to see the lion’s share of work in the passing game, and is coming off an impressive 7-144-1 receiving line last week.

Jahymr Gibbs was bottled up the Packers defence on Thanksgiving to the tune of 68 yards on 20 carries, and could be in for another tough day against a Dallas defence that has allowed an average of 69.7 rushing yards per game since acquiring star defensive tackle Quinnen Williams at the trade deadline.

The Cowboys (6-5-1) enter Week 14 as one of the league’s hottest teams after wins over the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs in each of their past two games.

Prescott threw for over 300 yards with multiple scores in each of those games and could be in for another big showing against a Lions defence without top cornerback Terrion Arnold, who was ruled out for the year with a shoulder injury on Tuesday.

Dallas’ playoff odds stand at 18 per cent heading into the game, but a win over the Lions in Week 14 would cement them as a team firmly in the hunt with just five weeks remaining in the regular season.

Colts vs. Jaguars

The action on Sunday gets underway with Jonathan Taylor and the Indianapolis Colts rolling into Jacksonville for an important AFC South meeting against Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars.

Watch the Colts take on the Jaguars LIVE Sunday at 1 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. PT on TSN1, TSN.ca, and the TSN App.

After starting the season at 7-1, the Colts have fallen on hard time of late with three losses in their past four games to drop to 8-4.

Taylor has failed to hit the 100-yard mark or score since Indianapolis’ bye in Week 11, and could be hard pressed to get back on track against a Jaguars defence allowing an NFL-best 82.4 rushing yards per game this season.

The Colts have lost their last nine games in Jacksonville, a trend they will have to buck as they aim to regain sole possession of the top spot in the AFC South.

Unlike their opponents on Sunday, the Jaguars (8-4) are hot coming into Week 14 with three consecutive wins and have raised their playoffs offs to 85 per cent in their first season under head coach Liam Coen.

Lawrence has thrown for multiple touchdowns in each of Jacksonville’s past two games and could extend the recent streak as Indy should be without top cornerback Sauce Gardner after he left last week with a calf injury.

This is the first meeting of the season between the two teams, and Sunday’s matchup could go a long way in deciding the AFC South winner at the end of the year.

Titans vs. Browns on TSN+

A pair of rookie quarterbacks go head-to-head as Cam Ward and the Tennessee Titans look to snap a seven-game losing streak against Shedeur Sanders and the Cleveland Browns.

Ward’s rookie season has not gone to plan for the 1-11 Titans, but a strong end to the year could serve to give the franchise some hope for 2026.

Ward is sporting a 59.7 completion rate with just seven touchdowns to six interceptions in his first 12 games since being taken with the top draft pick in this year’s draft.

Even with his rookie seasons struggles, the Miami product has shown immediate rapport with tight end Chig Okonkwo and Canadian wide receiver Elic Ayomanor, who should both feature prominently on Sunday.

Ward has failed to hit the 200-passing yard mark in three of his past four outings, and could be in tough once again against a Browns secondary that has given up just 169.9 yards through the air per game, the third-best mark in the NFL.

After earning his first NFL victory against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 12, Sanders was unable to get the Browns back in the win column last week against the San Francisco 49ers.

Sanders threw his second career touchdown in the loss, but threw for just 149 yards on the day as Cleveland fell to 3-9.

Since taking over for fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel in Week 12, Sanders has completed 27-of-45 passing attempts for 358 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception.

Both the Titans and Browns have fallen well out of playoff contention at this point in the season, but the rookies will take centre stage on Sunday looking to prove they can hang against NFL defences.

Broncos vs. Raiders

Bo Nix and the red-hot Denver Broncos take a nine-game winning streak into a matchup against Gino Smith and the Las Vegas Raiders.

Watch the Broncos take on the Raiders LIVE Sunday at 4:05 p.m. ET / 1:05 p.m. PT on TSN1/3/5, TSN.ca, and the TSN App.

The Broncos (10-2) narrowly escaped last week after surviving a 27-26 overtime win against the Washington Commanders.

Nik Bonitto batted down a potential gamer-winning two-point conversion attempt from Marcus Mariota to secure the victory, moving Denver’s odds to win the AFC West to 86 per cent.

Nix threw for 321 yards with a touchdown and interception in the win, while rookie rusher RJ Harvey added two scores on the ground, including one in overtime, to help Denver to the win.

The Broncos vaunted defence struggled in the victory with 419 yards of total offence given up, but came through once again with the game on the line in OT.

After dropping their first divisional game of the season against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 3, Denver has rattled off nine wins in a row, including a pair over AFC West rivals Kansas City Chiefs and Raiders.

The Broncos scraped their way to a 10-7 win over Las Vegas in Week 10, with both offences struggling for the majority of the contest.

Smith threw for 143 yards and an interception in the loss, while star tight end Brock Bowers brought in just one of three targets for 31 yards.

The Raiders will look for better results this time around promoting Greg Olson to offensive coordinator after Chip Kelly was fired before last week’s game.

Sunday Night Football – Texans vs. Chiefs

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs welcome the Houston Texans to Arrowhead in desperate need of a win to keep their playoff hopes alive.

Watch the Chiefs and Texans square off LIVE Sunday at 8:15 p.m. ET / 5:15 p.m. PT across the TSN Network, streaming on TSN.ca and the TSN App.

The Chiefs fell to 6-6 on the year after losing to the Cowboys on U.S. Thanksgiving last time out, and now hold just a 41 per cent chance of making the playoffs.

Mahomes threw for 261 yards and four touchdowns against Dallas, but the Chiefs lost 31-28 to put their season on the brink with just five weeks to go.

The two-time MVP has led Kansas City to the AFC Championship in each of his eight seasons as the team’s starting quarterback, but that streak is very much in jeopardy this time around with the Chiefs likely needing to run the table to have a chance of the playoffs.

Despite the loss, star receiver Rashee Rice shined with eight catches for 92 yards and two touchdowns, while Travis Kelce found the end zone for the fifth time this season, the second-most among all NFL tight ends.

The Texans continued their recent surge with a 20-16 win over the Colts last week, improving to 7-5 on the year with their fourth straight win.

C.J. Stroud made his return following a two-game concussion absence, throwing for 276 yards with an interception in the victory over their division rivals.

The win improved Houston’s playoff odds to 51 per cent, also muddying the waters in the AFC South with three teams all within one with of each other.

Week 14’s matchup between the Texans and Chiefs could very well decide the final wild card spot in the AFC, with both teams needing a win over the other.

Monday Night Football – Eagles vs. Chargers

Week 14 comes to a close on Monday Night Football as Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles heading out west for a matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Watch the Eagles take on the Chargers LIVE Monday at 8:15 p.m. ET / 5:15 p.m. PT across the TSN Network, streaming on TSN.ca and the TSN App.

Philadelphia (8-4) has dropped each of the past two contests, and all of a sudden, the NFC East title is back in play.

The Eagles’ offence stalled once again in a loss last time out against the Chicago Bears on Black Friday, continuing a worrying trend under first-year offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo.

Patullo’s unit, the highest-paid offence in all of football, ranks 24th in yards per game (304.8), 23rd in passing (196.3), 22nd in rushing (108.5), and 19th in scoring (22.5) this season after finishing in the top-third of the league in almost every category last year.

One of the biggest changes from last year is the play of Saquon Barkley, who has failed to reach the same heights he did under former offensive coordinator Kellen Moore.

Barkley, the 2024 Offensive Player of the Year, has eclipsed the 100-yard rushing mark once in 12 outings this season with just six total touchdowns on the year.

He has another tough task in store for Monday’s matchup against a Chargers defence that is allowing just 106.9 yards on the ground per game.

The Eagles will need a win to avoid a full tailspin heading into the final part of the regular season, while the Chargers will look to keep pace with the Broncos to keep their hopes for a division title alive.

The Chargers bounced back with a win over the Raiders last week to move to 8-4 on the year, two games back of Denver for the top spot in the AFC West.

Heading into this week, Justin Herbert’s status is currently unknown after the starting quarterback underwent surgery to repair a fracture in his left hand on Monday.

Herbert briefly left the win over Las Vegas with the injury before returning to action, finishing the day with 151 passing yards, two touchdowns, and an interception.

The sixth-year passer is currently listed as questionable for Monday, but said after the win last week that he would prepare for the Eagles as if he were starting.

With or without Herbert, the Chargers should be getting some reinforcements on offence with the return of rookie rusher Omarion Hampton, who has sat out since Week 5 with an ankle injury.

Prior to sustaining the injury, Hampton had led all rookies in scrimmage yards (380) and had already scored two touchdowns.

Los Angeles’ final five matchups of the regular season – Philadelphia, Kansas City, Dallas, Houston, and Denver – are all in the hunt for the playoffs as the team begins a crucial stretch run ahead of thre playoffs on Monday night.
