’28 Years Later: The Bone Temple’ International Trailer Focuses on the Cult of Jimmy

Hot on the heels of 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple‘s second trailer, a new international preview featuring new footage has surfaced.

This one places a greater focus on Jack O’Connell‘s Sir Jimmy Crystal and his violent cult, who are on a collision course with Ralph Fiennes‘ Dr. Kelson.

Filmed back-to-back with 28 Years Later, the fourth installment in the post-apocalyptic horror franchise infects theaters on January 16 via Sony.

Nia DaCosta (Candyman 2021, The Marvels) directs from a script by Alex Garland (28 Days Later, 28 Years Later).

Fiennes and O’Connell star alongside Alfie Williams, Erin Kellyman, and Chi Lewis-Parry, with Cillian Murphy expected to reprise his 28 Days Later role.

In the continuation of the epic story, Dr. Kelson finds himself in a shocking new relationship — with consequences that could change the world as they know it — and Spike’s encounter with Jimmy Crystal becomes a nightmare he can’t escape.

The infected are no longer the greatest threat to survival — the inhumanity of the survivors can be stranger and more terrifying.
